KOCECO had been established in January 1993 by retiring navy officers, offshore engineers and maritime consultants who can offer superior offshore/maritime engineering and consulting services including diving support for construction, inspection and salvage operation. KOCECO is a member of KESA following the Law concerning the Promotion of Engineering Services, and also a member of KSCA(Korea Specialty Contractors Association) taking special construction license(Subaqueous Works; will be changed into Offshore & Marine Works, License No. Gangnam-99-17-5, in 1999) following the Construction Industry Basic Law. Furthermore, We registered the standard of BS EN ISO 9001:2000/KS A 9001:2001 on 24th February 2003 and the scope of registration are research, development, engineering and maintenance for maritime and fisheries, underwater construction including offshore structure. From its head office and annex research institute in Seoul, branch offices in Jeju and Wando, KOCECO is the most active and leading participant in offshore/diving industry by organized professional engineers and well-experienced divers with three(3) research/patrol/diving vessels. We have successfully completed projects about submarine cable & pipeline, pollution control of the sea, underwater inspection & engineering, oceanographic observation & instrumentation and etc. Our clients are such as MOMAF, KEPCO, KOPEC, KPS, KT, KORDI, Provincial Offices, Korea Civil Association, Alcatel TCC, Nexans, Fugro Survey, ISM and etc. Considering initiative step of offshore business in korea, we continue to devolop the technology and to cooperate with other countries.
