KHMDL is a leading manufacturer of Thick-film hybrid microcircuits in India. We have a strong presence in Space, Automotive, Aerospace and defence industries for more than a decade. We have supplied hermetically sealed hybrids and resistor/resistor-capacitor networks for every spacecraft ISRO has built including the Mars and Lunar Missions. We have a state-of-the art manufacturing facility in Electronics City, Bangalore housed in 70, 000 sq. Ft building. One of the most complex hybrids we developed was for the Lunar Mission, Seismometer instrument (MEMS-based). We have an in-house Screening facility for these microcircuits to screen as per customer-defined environmental specifications. For the automotive sector, we manufacture about 1.8 million hybrids (encapsulated) per annum most of which are captively used for the manufacture of Voltage Regulators for 4-wheelers primarily. KHMD has successfully indigenized about 25 types of Hybrid Micro circuits for the automotive applications which were imported from overseas manufacturers resulting in huge savings for our customers. We are also a leading manufacturer of Thick Film Resistors used in Fuel Level Measurement Units. KHMD is also a leading EMS Contractor for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and has delivered about 50, 000 Mission Computer Radar Computer and Display Processor Board PCB Assemblies for about 400 aircraft. KHMDL is foraying into the Design and manufacture of RF and Microwave products for defence and aerospace applications. Thick-film technology-based heaters, DC-DC Converters for Space and Electric vehicle applications, gas and bio-sensors and fuel-level sensors for a variety of applications are other products.
