A fairly simple, but spectacular model of wooden parts for self-assembly. Ideal as a first model for a beginner boat builder. Both independent work on assembling the model (14+), and from a younger age under the supervision of adults is possible. It is the assembly of such miniatures that makes it possible to join a wonderful hobby - bench ship modeling.
The set was made according to archival drawings from the RGA of the Navy. All elements of the yal are made to the maximum scale and correspond to the specifications and design of the end of the 18th - the first half of the 19th century. Such yawls, as an auxiliary and rescue craft, were equipped with sailing ships of the Russian Navy in the 18th-19th centuries.
The stem, keel and stern have the correct fastening locks.
In accordance with the design of that time, there is no gunwale in the yal, and the frames are cut into the fenders.
The oarlocks, each of an individual shape, as it should be according to the technology of that period, cut simultaneously into the fender and the top board of the skin. There is also an outer shoulder (croaker).
The constructed model has dimensions: length 68 mm, width 25 mm, height 12 mm. The model can be placed on the stand included in the set. Also, this model can serve as an integral part of military-historical miniatures or an excellent reliable addition to models of sailing ships. The yawl set is suitable: as a second boat for our sets MK0302 "POLOTSK" and MK0401 "PHOENIX", MK0303 tender "AVOS"; for schooners, brigs and corvettes according to the States of 1806 and 1840.
Full laser cutting of all parts of the yal is made of pear. A convenient jig for assembly and many developed innovations make assembly of the case as easy as possible. The set of the model consists of 139 parts.
The set contains blanks and drawings for processing oars, a rigging, as well as metal parts to increase the reliability of the model.
ATTENTION! Glue, paints and varnish are not included in the set.
The set contains a color step-by-step photo instruction and a detailed text instruction for assembling.
