Zinc stearate is a non-toxic, white powdery substance. It is a zinc salt derived from stearic acid and is widely used in plastics, and pharmaceuticals. This salt is used as a plasticizer and surfactant.
Applications include PVC film and sheet and polyolefin
stabilization as well as paint dryer, rubber mold release lubricant and dispersion aid.
Halogen / Acid Scavenger and lubricant for plastics.
Good clarity and weather ability when used with Ba and epoxy stabilizers.
Excellent synergistic effects when used in combination with Ca stearate and epoxy stabilizers.
Excellent lubricity for PS application.
