Dear Readers We hereby ask you for your attention for our Knowledge is Power Project in the South of Thailand. Our project is asking for your used well working computer system of course voluntarily. May you find the shipping costs to expensive , than donations are always welcome. We do not wish to force you for an amount since the prices are very low in Thailand and with a small amount of money we can a lot of things done. Who are we ? The Knowledge is Power project is a non profit project organization which mainly operates in the South of Thailand. . Our project was founded on Monday February the 2nd and the end date of this project has not been scheduled yet. Our organization: - A central main office in Chiang Mai , Thailand - A distribution center where the computers are being received and send to the designated locations in Thailand. - A team of computer engineers who voluntarily work for our organization. - A team of local interpreters What is it that we do ? With your voluntarily donations of computer systems or financial support we will provide schools of southern Thailand with free computers. The main reason is the violence of terrorism that is holding a grip of the south , even tough this situation we still believe that each child has the right to have a proper education Our engineers will make sure that the donated computers will be fixed properly so they can be used. The interpreters of our organization will provide computer training the to the local teachers. Why we need your support ? In many Western countries schools are being provided with government support. Many schools in Thailand dont have this support of its government , this is the reason why many school not have the luxury to afford computers. Our main target is to provide the senior primary school classes with computers so they can have the advantage of leaning the English language and of or course the study of handling computers. With this knowledge that theyre being provided we hope to increase their future careers.
