Dear Sir or MadameI am a third year fine art student studying at Manchester School of art. It„s coming up to the end of the year and I will be participating in the degree show in June. The degree show is a very important event visited by thousands each year. On the opening night usually about 2,500 people turn up and many more throughout the week. I have lately been working with the idea of creating a child life size model from wax and pigment for my degree show, and I was wondering if your company would be willing to donate some Paraffin wax to me in order to support my degree show? Whether it is some wax not suitable to sell (But I can still melt) or any wax your company would be willing to donate in order to sponsor me.If you can email me, I will be able to attach an image of what I am trying to achieve to show you what your company would be helping me to achieve if I get sponsored. (The image is a tiny version of what I would make if I had the wax.) As the child model is rather large, I would require quite a lot of paraffin wax, however anything your company could donate will help and I would be extremely grateful.In turn for your sponsorship for my degree show, I will put your company logo onto the 3 thousand newspapers that we will be creating in order to advertise the show. I will also place any leaflets, business cards you may wish me to hand out in order to promote your company into the linen bags being created for the opening night, and I will place your companies contact details and logo onto the back of the magazine I will be creating to advertise my own work.
